Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. She was raised listening to traditional, old boleros along with traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is passionate about the operas and tangos as well as any dramatic performance. When she was 16 years old, she started singing and studying music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive vocal instruction. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In her early career, she saw her perform with many chamber ensembles and opera choruses and chamber groups in Guadalajara. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions singing the traditional Latin American Music. As a musician and teacher she has volunteered for numerous community projects due to her enthusiasm and enthusiasm for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor in The Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, by sharing her knowledge her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she will instill a passion, particularly in the younger generations to keep this tradition vibrant.
